Pieter Rossi and Bob Zucca started BP Landscapes in 1990 with a simple hand-shake and a $5,000 dollar investment by each partner. They leveraged this initial investment and today have become a highly successful and premier, award-winning design/build landscape firm for Northern California.

Today still under the leadership and enthusiasm of Rossi and Zucca some things never change, yes the philosophy that founded these two and BP Landscapes is still the same. However the company has grown and prospered, now leading the way in promoting green landscape design which takes less water, less fertilizer, and is more compatible with the native environment. They have developed partnerships with other industry leaders to produce more water efficient irrigation systems, thus reducing landscape water consumption.
From humble beginnings, BP Landscapes now operates in five counties in northern California. Equally impressive, the company has set a regional standard for the landscape industry for professionalism. They have consistently been ranked by The Union newspaper as The Best landscape organization in Nevada County for the last six years, along with many accolades including; national publication Lawn and Landscape and American Express Ventures.
